Water in Mbeli
On October 21, 2025, we completed the seventh well in Mbeli, in rural Tanzania.
It is a village marked by mistrust and wounds from the past: to work safely, we arrived with the regional president and an escort. But this time something changed: the local authorities did not merely tolerate us—they supported us and presented us to the community.
Then the entire village arrived: about 2,000 people, singing and dancing, a welcome we will never forget. The drill reached 240 m and, after hours of waiting, the water rose clear. Joy erupted: “Tumepata maji!” — we have water.
Just days before, we had seen children drinking from muddy puddles because there were no alternatives. In Mbeli, we brought a well that had been awaited for thirty years. Thanks to those who support us: this is not merely charity, it is justice. And from here we proclaim the Gospel: from real thirst, transformed into flowing water.
