Water in Kuty
On October 29, 2024, we arrived in Kuty, in the Kiteto district (Manyara region, Tanzania), to build our sixth well and bring clean water to a Maasai community of approximately 2,000 people. After a long 6-hour journey on dirt roads and three days of drilling, we reached water at a depth of 230 meters. Previously, families traveled up to 15 km to collect dirty water from puddles. We waited with them for the water to arrive and spent two nights in the village, sharing in their daily lives.
